Lead Payroll Analyst

• Managing payroll operations in North America, Canada and LATAM Countries

• Responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations

• Manage end to end payroll functions ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments, benefits and deductions.

• Involved in technical and functions aspects of system backend.

• Creating /updating the Earnings, deductions at Company level. Configuration set as needed basis

• Compliance and stay updated on tax regulations, labor laws to ensure Company's payroll practices comply with local, state and federal requirements.

• System Administrative responsibilities - Supervise and optimize the use of payroll service providers system, troubleshoot the issues and enhance system performance to reduce the manual processes.

• Team Management-Manage and mentor the team members by providing guidance on best practices, encouraging them to cross train and team collaboration.

• Audits and Reconciliation-Conduct Day to day audits to verify payroll data accuracy, reconcile on the discrepancies and address any pay related issues in a timely manner.

• Generate, Customize, and analyze pre and post payroll reports. Comparison and and Variance analysis prior to payroll approvals

• Providing key metrics to support management related inquiries.

• Collaborating with HR business partners and making them understand the impact of the correct data flow to ensure the seamless integration.

• Collaborating with the Finance and G/L team and timely in assistance on report delivery to assist them closing the month-end

• Employee communication-Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll related inquiries, changes and updates with transparency and building the trust.

• Managing and working continuously on improving the processes and procedures that will enhance the payroll team efficiency and accuracy that improves the team productivity.

• Working with the vendors and escalations on critical matters to the management

• Develop strategies, standard operating procedures and workflows for the department activities.

• Involved in year end tasks including tax forms and Open enrollment processes.

Canada and LATAM Country payrolls

• Review and approve the payrolls in a timely manner by approving in the respective bank

• Stay focused on the Canadian Labor Laws

• Assistance in year end tasks and T-4 forms

• Ensure Compliance and local Regulations are in place

• For LATAM countries adapting to the specific regulations of each country

• Managing local tax requirements, social security contributions payments and adherence to labor laws

• Making sure the Demographic and Static data flow from the HCM to the payroll provider is intact
