Our Quality Engineering teams standardize and automate the SDLC processes for Allegion product teams. As a Lead DevOps Platform engineer, you will partner with our product teams and the software services organization to drive the adoption of the DevOps toolsets across the Allegion Enterprise. You will architect, develop, test, and deploy solutions in the DevOps domain. You will promote the reduction in technical debt across our platforms, emphasize technical quality, showcase new technologies as well as facilitate experimentation and proof of concepts to demonstrate technical considerations. We will also rely on your expertise to address issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues with respect to the DevOps toolsets.

What You Will Do:

• Employ DevOps and Agile practices to build, inform, and educate internal customers on processes for utilizing organizational platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Legal, Security, Cloud Center for Excellence, Business, etc. to apply policy and non-functional requirements of enterprise software development into actionable practices and software development.
• Prioritize the work of and provide support to DevOps team members in devising and executing team and enterprise initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a highly complex & matrixed organization, delivering medium to large-sized projects and initiatives.
• Excellent communication (building presentations, written and verbal) skills & proven experience leading discussions with senior leadership.
• Consultant mindset: able to quickly ramp up knowledge in new technologies and apply patterns for DevOps in widely varied technologies.
• Strong skills in supporting software products through the entirety of the software development life cycle.
• Experience in creating and utilizing CI/CD pipelines for software builds and deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to educate, advocate, and implement scalable and resilient cloud-native applications.
• Experience in Operations and design of high availability systems with SLAs and OLAs.
• Strong grasp of the latest secure coding practices and architecture.

Required Education and Experience:

• An engineering bachelor's or master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Salary Range: $121,000 - $144,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
• Bonus Eligible: Yes
