Lead Preschool Teacher

We are seeking individuals who are energetic, organized and enjoy working with children 3- 4 years old. Using the online Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards you will develop engaging and interactive lesson plans based on the monthly theme. Responsibilities • Lead a joyful, engaging preschool classroom. • Create hands-on lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence. • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem • Encourage children to interact with other children • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, art and science etc.) • Track children’s progress • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s progress and development • Collaborate with other educators • Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards Skills • Knowledge of ECE curriculum • Ability to observe and assess children and plan and implement lesson plans based on the Creative Curriculum and the PA Early Learning Standards • Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate and be a team player • Participate in professional development to continuously improve job skills as per best practices in ECE • Bilingual- (Spanish and English a plus) • Enrolled in an AA/BA in ECE or related field Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Retirement plan • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance Ability to commute/relocate: • Philadelphia, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): • Bilingual - Spanish and English License/Certification: • CPR Certification (Preferred) • CDA, AA or BA in ECE or related field or working towards (Required) Work Location: In person
