Lead Engineer
The Engineering job designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Formulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Evaluates and implements changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Reviews flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Reviews technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
- Educates end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
- Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.

The Lead Print Engineer position within the Unified Client Experience team of End User services will be focused on all aspects of printing services within the firm through engineering, deployment and support of all corporate print solutions and infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, engineering, and support of print technologies that include badge-based printing, printer device functionalities such as scanning and fax, printer device management and printer security.
- Researching and recommending print solutions to move corporate print services including moving services to cloud platforms
- Lifecycle planning, management, and execution of print applications and print devices managed by the team.
- Design, engineering and support of print configurations for PCs and VDI clients
- Documentation and training of service desk and desktop support teams on print solutions and services.
- Work with project teams on company initiatives that involve print services managed by EUS.
- Work with managed print support vendor as needed to provide guidance and information to vendor onsite staff.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience with engineering, managing, and supporting a corporate multi-functional print environment
- 3+ years of experience with advance print systems such as secure pull print, scan to folder/scan to email centralized management systems and printer security device management systems.
- 5+ years' experience managing Windows queue based printing
- 5+ years of experience with Windows desktop and Windows server operating systems and related Windows operating systems scripting skills (PowerShell, WSH, Batch, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise printer device support such as deployment of device firmware, device configuration deployments, printer customizations.
- 5+ years of experience supporting print configurations and services on PCs and/or VDIs
Preferred Experience
- Experience implementing Cloud based printing solutions preferred
- Experience with HP Enterprise Multi-functional printers
Base Pay Range: $104,500/yr. - $174,200/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
