Lead, Product and Pricing Operations

Your role in helping us shape the future:
As the Product and Pricing Operations Lead , you will play a vital role in managing the connectivity service configuration on Intelsat's passenger portals, including pass products, promotions and advertisements. You will be responsible for rolling out new products and promos, supporting launch of portal features, tracking performance, keeping both the team as well as the stakeholders informed, and generally refining the process to stay aligned with business needs.

- Collaborate with Pricing Strategy, Account Management, Software Engineering, Billing and Reporting teams to launch new products, promotions and pricing changes
- Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to ensure the team meets its operational objectives
- Identify and solve technical, operational and business problems; understand and recognize broader impact across multiple teams
- Ensure products/promotions are rolled out with the appropriate controls and reporting
- Maintain auditable business processes for pricing and promotional operations
- Track performance of pricing tests, promotions, advertising and other product launches
- Supervise the daily activities of the Pricing and Ad Operations Analysts
- Set-up products, prices and other related configurations with Intelsat's Merchandising Center application (on the Pimcore platform)
- Work with Intelsat's custom promo code tool to generate, maintain and report on promo codes for the business
- Work with Intelsat's custom Permitted List Operations tool to configure allowed lists; validate and monitor updates
- Work with advertising management software tools (AdButler platform) to configure and report on advertising campaigns on Intelsat's passenger portals
- Validate changes post launch through various means such as usability testing and sales tracking
- Ensure new product and pricing changes are properly implemented across all related back-office systems such as billing and reporting
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to validate and analyze price changes
- Analyze performance of pricing initiatives and new product launches, including robust commercial analysis of major passenger-facing changes and capabilities across airline partner
- Maintain auditable business processes for pricing and promotional operations
You should definitely have:
- Atleast 5 years of experience working in Pricing, Accounting or related field
- Proficiency with Excel and MS Access
- Ability to write SQL queries or experience in data mining
- Individual must value accuracy, be process oriented and well organized
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High energy, strong work ethic and results-oriented
- Previous experience in a fast-paced team environment
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience with well-known relevant software for pricing, e-commerce, web UI configuration management, and advertising operations
- Degree in a business or STEM field
- Knowledge of Tableau preferred
- Knowledge of eCommerce /advertising operations
