Lead Product Designer

TigerConnect is seeking an exceptional Lead Product Designer to lead product design across our web and mobile products. This experienced designer will be a key player in helping us maintain and advance the user experience we are widely recognized for.
This Lead Product Designer should be a UX enthusiast and responsible for collaborating with product and engineering partners to design products that are intuitive and delightful to our customers. This individual should be deeply curious, an excellent communicator, have high attention to detail, and be fluent with the latest design tools and processes. What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with design leadership to craft, refine, implement, and communicate design vision and strategy across the organization. Champion user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Partner with product leadership to visualize the future of TigerConnect products
• Design highly intuitive and elegant experiences that project simplicity within a very complex system, always keeping user needs and functional requirements at the fore. Bring both your creative mind and your practical solutions to our design challenges
• Participate in ongoing user research (strategic and tactical), using the findings to refine design assumptions and continually improve our products
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other cross functional teams to streamline the discovery to delivery process, ensuring what is designed is effectively and efficiently built. Champion consistency, usability, and accessibility across our products and platforms
• Own multiple projects at different phases from inception to completion. Work the double diamond, ensuring projects are thoroughly thought through
• Work with design leadership to create frameworks, tenets, interaction models, JBTD task analyses, and other foundational UX efforts to rigorously underpin design decisions
• Mentor other designers, bring your empathy and craft knowledge to the whole team
• Be fluid with Figma, and other design tools, and interested in staying current with new technological options

What You Bring:

• 12+ years of product design experience, designing web and mobile apps (experience in product-driven SaaS/software company in the healthcare space is a plus)
• BA/BS degree in Design or related field or related degree/certifications
• An extensive portfolio, showcasing your approach, process, and the final result, demonstrating a facility with user interaction models, and a strong visual design point of view, including responsive design experience. Please include the portfolio with your application
• Critical problem-solving skills; able to think strategically, logically, and articulate your solutions
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills to articulate concepts, feedback, and rationale. Strong storytelling abilities a plus
• Experience seeking and using user feedback, user research, contextual interviews, and competitive/analogous research to inform and refine your designs
• Experience building, implementing, and maintaining a full design system (variables, tokens, components, multi-platform capabilities) very desirable
• Knowledge of native iOS and Android design (iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design) and comfort discussing platform design details with engineering
