As a Lead Product Designer at Posh, you will lead the design process for our core product experiences. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design strategies, create high-quality design solutions, and refine our existing design patterns. Your expertise will be critical in mentoring designers and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. While this is a lead role, you will be very hands on, directly working with Product Team(s) in designing core features.

Lead Design Process:Â Drive the design process from concept to launch for core product features, ensuring alignment with product goals.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to conduct research, understand user needs, and develop design strategies.Create High-Quality Designs: Deliver high-quality design solutions that are consistent with our design system and brand identity.Mentorship: Â Provide mentorship and guidance to other designers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.User Research: Conduct user research to gain insights and validate design decisions, ensuring our products meet user needs.Prototype and Iterate: Design, prototype, and iterate on new interfaces and interactions, focusing on creating intuitive and delightful user experiences. We use Figma.Design Systems: Contribute to and help maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across all product touchpoints.Problem Solving: Tackle complex design challenges with a strong systems-thinking approach, balancing the big picture with attention to detail.Requirements
Experience: 6+ years of experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex web and mobile applications.Skills: Deep expertise in UX/UI design, information architecture, and interaction design.Tools: Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively.Ownership: High level of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineers and product managers to bring designs to life.Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach to design, constantly empathizing with users to deliver intuitive and valuable solutions.Systems Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and create simple, scalable design solutions.Bonus Points
