The Role:

AssemblyAI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for a senior, in-house design lead who will play a key role in building state of the art products, and setting the standard for the future of the company and the brand. With significant investment and strong leadership to fuel our growth, it’s the perfect time to join the AssemblyAI team.

Responsibilities:

• Engage across all stages of our design projects. You’ll use your skills in concepting, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, user interface, and user research.
• Identify the best design methods to articulate your solutions (flows, prototypes, wireframes, high fidelity design, etc).
• Collaborate with engineering during the implementation phase to carefully translate your designs into incredible products.
• Be the leading voice in ensuring consistent brand execution. You will also work on paid social creative for social media.

We are a fully remote team made up of problem solvers, innovators and top AI researchers with 20+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Speech Recognition, and NLP from places like DeepMind, Google, Meta, Amazon, Apple, and Cisco. Requirements

• 4+ years of in-house design experience
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design
• Experience designing products for a technical audience (API products, developer tools, etc.) or the ability to write code
• Proven track record solving complex interaction problems
• Excellent design sense and familiarity with the latest UX trends

• An eye for pixel perfect detail
