This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Manager, Payments - REMOTE. In this crucial role, you will lead the strategy and execution of an embedded payments platform within a B2B2C vertical SaaS ecosystem. Your work will enable businesses to accept, manage, and reconcile payments seamlessly, processing over $1B in annual transaction volume. You will own the entire payments experience, ensuring that merchant needs are met while also enhancing end-customer satisfaction and compliance. Collaborating across product, engineering, and market teams will be essential to turn payments into a key growth driver, rather than just a backend utility. Accountabilities

  • Define and own the payments product vision and multi-year roadmap for a B2B2C vertical SaaS platform.
  • Lead strategy across embedded payments, onboarding, pricing, settlement, payouts, refunds, disputes, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure payments are tightly integrated into core SaaS workflows, driving merchant adoption, retention, and ARPU.
  • Evaluate and launch new capabilities beyond existing offerings.
  • Design intuitive onboarding and reporting experiences for merchants.
  • Optimize payment flows to maximize conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable payment systems.
  • Coordinate across various teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Own product compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Define key performance indicators to track growth and performance.
  • Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, particularly with embedded or platform payments.
  • Experience in a B2B2C, marketplace, or vertical SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with merchant onboarding and payment reconciliation.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem including processors and networks.
  • Comfort operating in regulated environments and working with risk and compliance teams.
  • Ability to balance long-term platform strategies with immediate customer needs.
