Job Description

About Us

Sage is on a mission to improve the quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths among adults over 65. At the same time, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. This issue is exacerbated by the inefficient procedures that operators of these facilities are forced to use to provide care to their residents.  Sage's integrated software aims to reinvent how we care for and respond to older adults in times of need.  We aim to build a platform that gives caregivers the means to provide care for modern aging.

Sage is a small, tight team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary entrepreneurs.  We are a software-enabled, mission-driven company, and are focused only on the problems that are central to achieving that mission.  At Sage, we work hard and fast but also know that to build a truly important company, we need to treat our work as a marathon, and not a sprint.  The journey matters.  We know when to slow down, take breaks, and have fun.

About The Role

As a lead product manager at Sage you will be developing features and products that help caregivers give better care for older adults. You will lead the vision and execution of key features in our caregiver product and work closely on a team to identify and test new market opportunities.

Responsibilities
  1. Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's mission and customer needs.
  2. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the senior health tech industry, and use this information to guide product development.
  3. User Experience Research: Coordinate user testing and gather feedback to iterate on product features and enhancements.
  4. Initiative Coordination: Gather requirements, write initiative documentation, and organize cross functional pod syncs to ensure initiatives stay on-time and on-target.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across engineering, design, client success, business development, and data science teams to prioritize, plan, and execute product features and improvements.
  6. User-Centric Design: Champion user-centered design principles to create intuitive and accessible user experiences for older adults and caregivers.
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality by defining test cases, conducting quality assurance testing, and coordinating bug fixes.
  8. Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing strategies, sales enablement, and customer support.
  9. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  10. Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with customers, gather feedback, and incorporate customer insights into product development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the health tech space with demonstrated examples of products or product features you’ve lead, from inception to launch
  • Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex software products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience working with engineers and product designers.
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and leading UX research initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of driving innovative product development.
  • Passion for improving the quality of life for older adults through technology.
  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel domestically for customer visits.
