Responsibilities:


  • Provide thought leadership with the aim of growing B2B2C and B2B2B card business to a market leading position by 2025
  • Be the in-house subject matter expert for any issuing initiatives, across debit, credit and prepaid card products
  • Formulate a differentiated card as a service program offering and maintain it in partnership with Business to meet our evolving client needs
  • Drive the strategic rationale behind investment decisions relating to CRB’s programs including:
    • Keen understanding of the business landscape, client needs and trends and competitive dynamics
    • Manage client pricing methodologies and establish a framework for pricing decision making in conjunction with Finance and the Business Unit
    • Deep understanding of the relative considerations in different processor integrations with a view to optimal solution engineering
  • Engage in proactive development and research to continuously identify and/or ideate opportunities for new features and products. Work with Strategy and Finance teams to conduct cost benefit analyses around decisions / outcomes.
  • Key stakeholder in the organization and ongoing management of Cross River’s retention of a portion of credit receivables. Work closely with Capital Markets, Finance, Operations and IT in the management of the receivable retention program
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholder groups to understand business needs. Set and manage priorities for development teams
  • Work closely with Sales and client interfacing teams to establish the requirements for integration of third-party program providers based on client requirements
  • Work closely with engineers and internal stakeholders and use data-driven approaches to identify potential areas of improvement within the business, with a specific focus on consumer credit products and processes 
  • Collaborate in the creation of frameworks to appropriately manage risks across multiple third-party programs and processors 
  • Assist with the Due Diligence process of new prospective Third Parties
  • Create and maintain comprehensive and high-quality product documentation for use in audits and regulatory exams 

Qualifications: 


  • 10+ years of experience in product management with expertise in corporate and consumer credit products, ideally in a third party sponsorship model
  • Demonstrated success implementing new credit, debit or prepaid card products including digital and physical products
  • Deep expertise in the implementation, management and operational management of credit and debit card processing systems; their interfacing with Visa/MC networks and associated clearing complexities
  • Experience in design, testing, and gathering analytics to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience in regulated financial services industries, FinTech, or retail banking preferred
  • Operating with engineering teams in LEAN/Agile environment
