Job Description

Course Hero is looking for an expert product manager to join our consumer product org to unlock the next phase of growth for a multi-billion dollar unicorn education company. In this role, you will own and lead high-impact growth initiatives for our Q&A marketplace product line. You will be in charge of growing the Q&A library as well as incremental revenue from the existing content. You drive everything from roadmapping, executing, and iterating the conversion and content growth experiences for the product. You will need strong business acumen, customer focus, obsession with great execution, and a data-driven approach to optimize the user experiences. 

Here are some ways you’ll make an impact
  • Identify and analyze standard methodologies for optimization and feature implementation across the site to improve registration, product onboarding, and conversion funnels for all product lines
  • Identify new distribution opportunities via partnership and integrations to grow Q&A business 
  • Work with designers, user researchers, and engineers to define and build user experiences that delight customers and meet our business goals
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as consumer PMs, ML/AI, data science, operations, and marketing to identify potential opportunities and validate roadmaps
  • Conduct and launch iterative A/B tests to drive content and revenue growth goals

Are you our Product Manager?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management for a B2C company, ideally on consumer-facing, content subscription, or marketplace products.
  • You have experience and a provable track record in substantially optimizing aspects of conversion funnels.
  • Self-starter who can dive into the details, find creative solutions and lead your projects. 
  • You are extremely data-driven, but have the confidence to balance data with experience and intuition.

  • Quantitative degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects through launch while handling several moving pieces.

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States and Canada. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.
This role is eligible for hire in the San Francisco Bay Area (US), Vancouver (Canada), and Toronto (Canada).
In accordance with California law, the base salary for this role if filled within California is $199,000 - $270,000.
