Functioning as a startup inside Taskrabbit, this team is pursuing a significant growth opportunity and bringing a new venture to life. As Product Manager for Operational Systems, you will help build the operational tools that the team uses every day to effectively manage and drive our marketplace.   The tools you develop will empower our internal teams within Operations, Marketplace, Payments, and Customer Support to effectively support and guide Taskers, align Supply with Demand, reduce and fight fraudulent behavior, and ensure our customers have an amazing experience. You’ll also be responsible for guiding product strategy, functional requirements, product design and more. Our ideal candidate is passionate about Taskrabbit and the sharing economy, has experience shipping impactful products, and has led teams to success (ideally in a startup environment). This candidate must also be personable, collaborative and flexible, with the drive to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholder groups.

What You'll Work On:
  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for all essential platform tools at Taskrabbit.
  • Define product requirements and collaborate with Design and Engineering for timely delivery of key features and improvements with an eye toward balancing short term and longer term needs.
  • Lead the development of key apps and services that are critical to business operations success.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders from Operations, Finance, Trust & Safety, Marketplace, and Customer Support.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health and support increasing Operational efficiencies, reducing losses, and improving the experience for Clients and Taskers.
  • Clearly communicate the roadmap and outcomes to both internal stakeholders and the Taskrabbit senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate Product methodology and tools.
  • Own your product’s destiny and create roadmaps for the team to reflect this vision.
  • Over time build and manage a product team to deliver on this vision.
Your Areas of Expertise:
  • You’ve worked a minimum of 6 years in product management. Additional experience in other fields is a plus.
  • You’re good at inspiring and leading teams. You take the time to really understand individuals’ interests and sources of motivation.
  • You have good business sense and can see the big picture. You can see how impacting one lever in a complex marketplace affects many others. Two-sided marketplace experience is a plus.
  • You can set challenging goals, select metrics to measure progress, and drive outcomes for the business.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity
  • You have expertise with data analysis, and you’re able to draw insights from complex data. Experience with Looker or SQL a plus.
  • You are a skilled collaborator across disciplines and with senior leadership.
  • You’re excellent at execution. You’ve worn Product Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance hats whenever needed, even if those functions weren’t in your title.
  • You can communicate effectively with engineers and designers.
  • You have strong user empathy and intuition around usability/visual design
  • Experience A/B testing at both small and large scales is a plus
  • You’re comfortable operating at a fast pace in an entrepreneurial environment.
