Lead Product Manager, Secured Lending

Responsibilities:

• Lead Product management for Cross River’s secured lending products responsible for all aspects of the product from discovery through implementation
• Design and develop Cross River’s HELOC and other secured product programs including product vision, MVP features and roadmap for future deployment
  • Work closely with other Product teams to develop non-cash backed secured card offering
• Develop new product features and enhancements for our auto lending program that increase the attractiveness and utility of the product for our platform partners
• Explore new industry segments, continuously develop and analyze business models and pricing, and design new features to support different customer segments
• Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve performance, boost growth, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
• Leverage market research, internal data, client feedback, and customer insights to develop new product features and enhancements that increase the attractiveness and utility of the product for our platform partners
• Own the product roadmap for all consumer secured installment products
• Work closely with relationship managers to identify and resolve issues related to product deployment and optimization
• Work closely with business teams and functional areas including Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology to establish the program procedures and internal operating principles
• Closely collaborate with Technology to gather requirements from business and functional teams, and ensure product enhancements are released in a timely manner
• Coordinate the delivery of content and document libraries including policies, compliance guides, marketing materials and external facing materials
• Assist in the development of customer and partner-facing presentations and associated materials
• Optimize new client delivery and onboarding processes based on feedback from relationship managers
• Develop an ecosystem of vendors to enable the delivery of suite of services required for consumer lending activity
• Train and mentor junior product managers and lead by example

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience in product management with expertise in secured lending products. Auto, HELOC and mortgage experiences preferred. Additional unsecured lending experience will be highly desired.
• Demonstrated success implementing new digital product offerings from scratch
• Deep expertise in the implementation, management and operational management of secured product portfolios, including knowledge of vendor solutions and experience in vendor integrations
• Experience in design, testing, and gathering analytics to turn data into actionable insights
• Experience in regulated financial services industries, FinTech, or retail banking preferred
• Operating with engineering teams in LEAN/Agile environment
