Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to help drive the growth and optimization of PayPal’s Buy Now Pay Later installment products globally. In this role, you will represent the business and oversee the planning and execution of new product launches and expansion into new channels and segments. Additionally, you will identify and drive product enhancements for existing products in markets across geographies. You will partner directly with PayPal’s product organization to create best in class products and experiences for PayPal merchants and consumers. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with teams across PayPal as well as external partners and players to drive results. This role will be instrumental in setting our project priorities, delivering on them, and driving overall growth for the business.Job Description:
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the team in driving and delivering key initiatives and projects, including:
- Serve as primary business contact and liaison with Product team and PayPal PMO office
- Assist in gathering information and writing/vetting out business requirements and product briefs
- Provide day-to-day management and oversight of all projects; work across teams to minimize key risks and ensure timely and flawless delivery of projects
- Partner with internal cross functional teams to launch new products and features, including Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and others; influencing and driving decisions across workstreams
- Work directly with Operations and back end support teams to ensure appropriate staffing, requirements and structures are in place to support new launches
- Drive product roadmap for Pay Later product enhancements and optimization initiatives including across geographies; includes sizing initiatives and utilizing customer and merchant feedback in prioritization and decision making
- Engage with leadership across the business to create awareness of new product and channels to ensure flawless launch and optimal experiences
- Key point of contact and bridge across Marketing & PMM teams to ensure alignment on business goals, priorities & activities that support Pay Later growth
Experience & Skills
- Outstanding product professional with 10+ years of experience, including product management for and credit portfolio management
- Experience with building technology based financial products, including, launching, and scaling consumer products working across multiple partners and geographies to deliver project outcomes
- Ability to collaborate with teams including product, risk, operations, compliance, etc. using outstanding influencing skills, and strong senior-level communication abilities to drive decisions
- Experience leading others indirectly (leadership without authority), cross-functional collaboration skills required
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing work environment
- Problem solver, with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs
- Proven track record of collaboration and influence in a matrixed environment; strong sense of urgency with the ability to “get things done” across matrixed organization
- Deep familiarity and understanding of PayPal and Consumer Credit Products
- Bachelor’s Degree, with MBA degree preferred
