Job Description

Team: Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Manager in United Kingdom.

This is a high-impact product leadership role within a fast-evolving mobile gaming environment, focused on shaping the commercial and systemic foundations of a live F2P title as it moves from soft launch to global scale. You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, game economy design, and live operations, ensuring that gameplay systems translate into sustainable long-term engagement and revenue performance. Working closely with design, analytics, engineering, and production teams, you will define monetization frameworks, progression structures, and experimentation strategies that directly influence core business KPIs. The role requires strong analytical thinking, a deep understanding of player behavior, and the ability to make confident system-level decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will play a central role in translating creative vision into scalable, commercially successful game systems. This is a highly autonomous position with significant ownership and influence over product direction.

Accountabilities:

Lead the design, optimization, and scaling of core game systems to support long-term engagement and commercial success:

  • Own and evolve the in-game economy across multiple progression systems and gameplay loops, ensuring balance, coherence, and sustainability
  • Define and drive monetization strategy, optimizing revenue systems, pricing structures, and player value exchange
  • Lead Live Ops strategy including event cadence, segmentation, personalization, and offer design to maximize engagement and LTV
  • Design and execute structured A/B testing and experimentation frameworks across economy and monetization systems
  • Identify performance gaps during soft launch and translate data insights into actionable product and system improvements
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, analytics, and production to deliver aligned product outcomes
  • Write clear, detailed product specifications that enable fast and high-quality execution
  • Analyze market trends and competitive insights to inform roadmap priorities and product positioning
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across stakeholders in a fast-moving, data-informed environment

  • Requirements:

Experienced product leader in free-to-play mobile gaming with strong expertise in systems design and monetization:

    • 5–8+ years of product management experience in F2P mobile games, with exposure to live operations and revenue systems
    • Proven track record contributing to or leading commercially successful live game products with measurable KPI ownership
    • Deep expertise in economy design, monetization systems, and progression modeling
    • Strong understanding of gameplay loops and how economic systems influence retention and engagement
    • Experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests in soft launch or live game environments
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Looker, or equivalent
    • Systems-thinking mindset with ability to anticipate downstream impacts of product decisions
    • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with shifting priorities
    • Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to influence design, engineering, and analytics partners
    • Genuine passion for building scalable, commercially successful game systems

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation package aligned with industry standards
      • Remote-first working model with flexibility within the United Kingdom
      • Opportunity to shape a high-impact, globally scaling mobile game
      • Collaborative, veteran-led game development environment
      • Strong emphasis on ownership, autonomy, and product leadership impact
      • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture focused on belonging and creativity
      • Opportunity to work on complex systems with meaningful player and business impact
