The Role:
Our Product Marketing team's mission is to drive market success of Walmart Connect's product portfolio. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Walmart Connect, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Design, Partner Development, Marketing, Support, and many others. Our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Marketing Manager to manage cross-team product marketing initiatives, build and scale product marketing operations to support the growth and adoption of Walmart Connect's offerings. From refining processes like product strategy, product readiness, adoption funnel to building scalable tools and analytics, we are on a journey to establish the scaffolding critical for scaling the Product Marketing team's impact. We are looking for thinkers who get excited about solving large complex problems and can roll up their sleeves to implement the solutions.
In this role, you will run large product marketing initiatives, scale our inbound and outbound processes, and project manage across product marketing teams. You will be an SME for our advertising solutions and play a pivotal role in driving the market success of the Walmart Connect products.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a revenue-motivated product marketing leader who can cultivate strong relationships with cross functional teams and have a demonstrated track record of building scalable processes and managing large cross-functional initiatives. A strong understanding of digital advertising, AdTech platforms, strategy consulting or B2B software marketing is preferred.
You'll make an impact by:
- Build and own product marketing operational relationships with multiple teams - including Product, Sales Operations, Marketing, Support, and others - and program manage large product marketing work streams critical to the successful delivery of product marketing OKRs, e.g. market requirements, product roadmap planning, rollouts and updates.
- Develop and manage end-to-end product marketing project plans ensuring on-time delivery; communicate effectively with partner teams to ensure all associated work streams deliver as planned
- Build and drive adoption of scalable systems like playbooks, templates, dashboards, etc.
- Identify, scope, and drive process improvements across your area(s) of ownership
- Perform analyses and research that help us make the right growth decisions for Walmart Connect. Collaborate with Product Analytics, Sales and Business operations teams to build adoption analytics
- Build consensus and inspire action through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in strategy consulting, product marketing, business operations, or B2B marketing, and 5+ years of experience in Online Advertising Industry.
- A solid understanding of advertising technologies
- Proven ability to form relationships and lead cross functional teams
- Embrace working in a fast paced continually evolving environment
- Exceptional communication skills in both writing and presentation
- Analytical and data-driven
- Demonstrated success in project managing cross-functional initiatives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
