Manages people who lead internal projects/programs which focus on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. These projects need a distinct beginning and an end.

Manages employees who perform project management duties which involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills and analytical skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of project management or related experience needed.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Program Manager within the IT Works Children's National Medical Center, you will design, develop and manage internal or external programs to deliver business-aligned outcomes. You will lead strategy and ownership of highly complex, cross-functional programs and projects, lead resources which may include people, data, processes, and financial investments. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to establish vision, objectives, and program strategy, lead the cross-functional process and program improvement efforts, and set and manage the financial plan for the program. Basic Qualifications
  • At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 3 years project/program management work experience
    • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • PMP Certified

Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $127,100 to $229,000 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $113,800 to $216,900 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
