In this role, you will lead project teams to implement complex and strategically aligned projects within the National Account Services (NAS) business, by planning, organizing, controlling, and deploying key milestones, deliverables and resources according to business goals. These projects will include, but are not limited to revenue generation, cost reduction, application or process enhancements, contact center technology, infrastructure initiatives or compliance and statutory requirements and will be critical to achieving NAS strategic goals. Lead Project/Program Managers are responsible for building and maintaining productive working relationships between all organizations with various levels of associates and constituencies, which may include departments such as Service, Implementation, Operations, Legal, Finance or Product.

What you'll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:

  • You will lead and influence initiatives and projects to provide strategic insights which enable efficient execution of project deliverables and milestones, including managing the full lifecycle of projects.

  • You will provide analysis and status reports of the project, including business case, ROI, and post-project review.
  • You will assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.

  • You'll use critical thinking and problem solving skills to approach new situations.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
  • At least 8 years of project management experience and/or continuous improvement experience
  • Prior work experience leading medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects from concept to delivery
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies
  • Ability to guide and inspire others in consultative approach and drive collaboration and client focus with the project team and internal partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities (flexibility/adaptability)
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Ability to work and thrive independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to partner, collaborate and work in a team (and matrixed) environment
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply critical thinking skills
  • Ability to coach, train, and mentor other team members with less experience

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands
  • Initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes
  • Process oriented with a high attention to details
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Industry and/or knowledge and understanding of payroll
  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar tools.
  • PMP, PgMP, or other similar certifications from highly recognized professional learning institutions
