The Role
Modern Health is looking for a Lead Program Manager to own and drive the company’s most strategic health partnerships and cross-functional programs and have outsized accountability for the complex work required to make them succeed.
In this highly visible role you’ll be the end-to-end owner of critical programs that span Product & Tech Clinical Operations Go-to-Market Legal & Compliance Finance and external health partners. You’ll be expected to jump into ambiguous noisy situations quickly create structure and drive programs from idea through execution and long-term optimization.
You will also help enable an effective efficient high-impact Product & Tech organization by improving alignment communications and processes between Product & Tech teams and their cross-functional counterparts. In this role you may also:

Enable more data-informed roadmap development.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Hawaii.
What You’ll Do
Program Management & Strategic Partnerships

Own and lead a portfolio of strategic health partnership programs from initial scoping through implementation launch and ongoing optimization ensuring these partnerships deliver against our product strategy and business objectives

Drive structure from ambiguity by clarifying goals defining operating models aligning stakeholders and building program plans cadences and decision-making frameworks in environments with high noise and changing priorities

Manage the full program lifecycle on a day-to-day basis including defining success metrics measuring progress toward objectives identifying dependencies risks and issues and overseeing budget resources and deliverables against outcomes

Act as the unflappable central point of coordination for cross-functional stakeholders (Product & Tech Clinical Operations Go-to-Market Legal & Compliance Finance and external health partners) ensuring proactive consistent communication and alignment

Serve as the leadership team’s subject matter expert on your programs: monitor program success metrics synthesize insights and provide clear concise updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders

Continuously assess launch and operational risk factors for key partnerships and actively drive mitigation strategies with the right owners escalating when appropriate and keeping cross-functional teams focused on the most critical issues

Identify and initiate continuous process improvements across your programs and partnerships to make their performance faster smoother and more scalable

Hold teams (and yourself) to a “finish the job” mindset ensuring programs don’t just start strong but are driven through to successful outcomes and post-launch learnings
Internal Team Performance
While the primary emphasis for this role is on program management for health partnerships it includes broader program management responsibilities. As a team we take our program management expertise from the field and elevate the business in a variety of other ways including:

Support and refine key organizational operating rhythms and lifecycles including annual planning quarterly goal setting and executive alignment across the company

Identify and implement improvements to how key business functions operate cross-functionally designing robust yet nimble processes that increase efficiency (e.g. intake and prioritization of strategic initiatives cross-functional change management standardized program governance)

Partner with leadership across the organization to define and maintain visibility into the company's strategic roadmap and ensure all relevant teams have clear timely visibility into cross-functional dependencies

Help move the organization toward a more data-informed approach to decision-making standing up or refining processes to track and review the performance and impact of major initiatives

Become a trusted partner and advisor for leadership and key business functions helping translate company strategy into execution and measurable outcomes

Manage and optimize core operational tooling and systems to support effective execution and visibility across the business
Who You Are

5+ years of experience in program management or operations with a track record of success in complex highly cross-functional organizations.

A proven driver of alignment and execution able to synthesize diverse perspectives facilitate crisp decision-making and establish clear ownership from strategy through delivery

Experienced owning large strategic initiatives end-to-end taking work from ambiguity through execution and measurable impact (e.g. major launches partnerships or org-wide programs)

Exceptionally strong program management fundamentals — planning sequencing dependency management and risk mitigation — with the adaptability to recalibrate as priorities evolve

High EQ and executive presence trusted to navigate sensitive high-visibility situations and build durable relationships with senior leaders and external partners

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors including a candidate's qualifications skills competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Ranges are not necessarily indicative of the associated starting pay range in other locations. Depending on the scope of the role some ranges are indicative of On Target Earnings (OTE) and includes both base pay and commission at 100% achievement of established targets.
