Job Purpose
The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering program/project leadership and reporting of deliverables within our end-to-end programs and transformational initiatives and support the overall resource planning strategy. Utilizes project management reporting systems to develop and present reports, prepare analytics, and perform other monthly, quarterly, and annual processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for planning and overseeing projects by means of a dotted line reporting structure, ensuring target dates and objectives are met.
- Tracking and reporting out statuses on a program of related projects, identifying and escalating risks, assumptions, and scope documentation
- As a qualified Program/Project Manager, lead Customer Billing projects to be completed on time and within budget.
- Aid in the creation and administration of reporting mechanisms, KPIs, and resulting scorecards for change management performance
- Facilitate cross functional discussions with effective use of open & close ended questions, control the room, manage conflict, leverage SMEs and drive to action
- Utilize data to identify and develop tools, framework, best and new practices and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, finance, accounting, or related discipline and 3+ years of Project/Program Management/Project Controls experience preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
- In lieu of degree, 8+ years of Project/Program Management/Project Controls work experience required
- Demonstrated ability to interpret information and analyze relationships among several parts of a problem or situation in order to clearly articulate the findings
- Proven background in anticipating obstacles and thinking ahead about next steps, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness and the ability to investigate the situation beyond routine questioning
- Demonstrated energetic and enthusiastic manner and the ability to engage and maintain high levels of engagement of stakeholders during meetings, and throughout the year
- Demonstrated consistent approach in dealing with stakeholders and taking personal responsibility for driving performance
- Solid understanding of the importance of procedures and standards of working and demonstrated ability to give directions or demonstrations with clear reasons and rationales
- Proven self-starter motivated to lead the performance of programs of responsibility
- Proven experience writing and presenting reports at the Director level and above
- Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take the initiative. Comfortable and successful working in a fast-paced, fluid environment

$98,000 - $115,000 a year - Upstate NY
$116,000 - $137,000 a year - Downstate NY
$109,000 - 128,000 a year - Massachusetts
Salary commensurate with location and experience
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
