Lead Project Engineer - Oil & Gas

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer, who has specialized in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/Specialty Chemical industries to join our team at Cyient. You will have prior experience delivering CAPEX/OPEX/MOC projects. You will be directly involved with managing and delivering assigned projects on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. You will also work effectively with our offshore design and delivery teams, as well as leadership teams worldwide. Your experience in Energy Transition Projects in green Hydrogen and Carbon Capture value chain is desirable.

This position will be located in the Greater Houston area to support the onsite team there and will regularly collaborate with our delivery team(s) internationally.

You will:

• Act as SPOC (single point of contact) for carrying-out effective On-Site interface with Client and coordinate the delivery of CAPEX/OPEX project(s) from conception, through execution to completion.
• Identify opportunities and support business development efforts in preparation of SOW, proposals and related activities.
• Effectively interface with client team, key stakeholders and project engineers to deliver final design packages and additional support.

You will need:

• 10+ years of experience in the project coordination, execution and delivery of projects in the Oil & Gas/Refining/Petrochemical industries, with preferred experience in Energy Transition projects and Green Hydrogen and Low Carbon Solutions (Pilot Plant/Commercial Scale) projects
• 5+ years of experience as an On-Site interface/delivery coordinator in CAPEX/OPEX/ MOC projects.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Bachelor's Degree is required in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline); Experience with project management is highly desirable.
• Must be able to successfully pass a Background and Drug test, as part of the hiring process.
