Job Description
Summary
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Leads the Special Projects Department ensuring all products, services, and projects, from idea to implementation, are successfully managed. Establishes all new projects, coordinating with stakeholders, to identify business requirements then assigns projects, milestones, and tasks to the team based on resources and time frame needed. Proactively works with the team, based on skillset and availability, to reduce potential creep. Communicates to all stakeholders regarding project updates, timelines, and budgetary concerns. Works with all direct reports to deliver project success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Manages day to day activity of all assigned Special Projects team members and vendors
- Identifies, selects, and evaluates vendor performance related to special projects
- Main point of contact for all projects; creates projects in project management software
- Works with stakeholders to identify business requirements then assigns projects, milestones, and tasks to team member and self, based on requirements, resource(s), and timeline needed by
- Proactively watches for, attempts to minimize, and communicates delays to projects
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsible for hitting budgets established per project
- Conducts monthly 1-1s and annual performance reviews of Special Projects team members
- Works with other business departments to complete work related to assigned projects
- Works with all levels of management to promote and progress the success of Basys
- Leads reflection meetings, including stakeholders and persons who worked on the project to determine successes and areas of opportunity; incorporates those findings with Implementation Coordinator on future projects
Requirements
This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to three days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- A minimum of 4 years experience in a financial institution or Project Management required
- Strong Communication Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
