This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager - REMOTE. In this critical role, you will be the primary leader overseeing mission-critical projects, ensuring safety and financial performance while developing your team. Your leadership will guide the project from inception to completion, fostering a cohesive and effective team environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors. Your contributions will directly impact the success of high-stakes projects, making this a pivotal role in our operations.

Accountabilities

  • Perform all Assistant Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Engineer responsibilities.
  • Manage staff members, ensuring proper oversight and development of multiple levels of staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between office and field, coordinating staffing and movement of field personnel.
  • Develop project chart of accounts, contract status reports, and project site logistics plans.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the pay request process and monitor project costs.
  • Implement and monitor training for all project personnel.
  • Assist in the development of construction schedules and monitor performance.
  • Implement applicable safety and EEO programs.
  • Lead quality control processes and project close-out procedures.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 7+ years of experience in complex commercial or related construction projects.
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities, data centers, and other MEP-heavy projects preferred.
  • Self-perform experience is strongly desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of mission critical technology and processes required.
  • Must be geographically mobile and able to travel or relocate.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Experience managing subcontracts and subcontractors.
  • Proven experience leading successful project teams.
