Accountabilities
Manage multiple projects in support of ground-up new hospital, renovation, or research facilities.Develop and implement detailed solutions for complex project challenges.Support RFP process for design, construction, and installation related topics.Attend presale meetings and support sales relationships with customers.Visit project sites to secure measurements, produce cost estimates, and review key requirements.Consult with customers to optimize equipment layouts and workflow.Oversee overall project management of DCS projects for customer satisfaction.Communicate customer specifications to planners to develop site-specific drawings.Provide updates to stakeholders regarding project status, schedule, and changes.Develop and finalize project schedules for production, delivery, and installation.Regularly monitor project progress through site visits and data maintenance.Resolve customer questions and maintain high levels of satisfaction throughout the project.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.Experience in healthcare construction.Minimum of 8+ years in complex project management.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience engaging with executive-level management and clinicians.Ability to read design drawings.Extensive experience managing matrix project teams and vendors.Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, structural, HVAC construction parameters.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Well-organized problem solver capable of working autonomously.CAD knowledge required.Knowledge of AIA contracting and payment processes.Familiarity with Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) regulations.PMP Certification preferred.Ability to travel up to 50-75%.Benefits
