Lead QA Automation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation SDET to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a 

strong background in both front-end and back-end software testing, with a strong focus on automation tools and frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery through robust testing.
• Troubleshoot complex software workflows and provide solutions for issues identified during testing.
• Build and maintain automation test frameworks across multiple platforms, including Web, API, and Mobile.
• Manage and prioritize testing efforts across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Contribute to continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving testing best practices across the organization

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end systems, including writing automated tests.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in building and maintaining automation test frameworks for Web, and API platforms.
• Proficiency in using testing tools and languages such as TestRail, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Python, REST APIs, Robot Framework, and SQL.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like Jenkins, and GitLab, and experience integrating CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile platforms using tools/frameworks like PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Robot automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing automated testing using Selenium/BDD, Robot framework or equivalent tools.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Kanban, and a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• A solid understanding of the retail, e-commerce, and pet industries.
• A positive attitude and a proven ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
