Lead QA Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Lead testing efforts for the distributed Quality Assurance teams, consisting of Manual Testers as well as Test Automation Engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks
• Automate test cases and design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts.
• Analyze issues related to automated and/or load testing, research and propose solutions, and add, modify, or enhance previously recorded automated scripts.
• Lead the automation development projects and automation engineers to build automation frameworks.
• CI/CD/Devops practices to release high-quality software to production.
• Automation code reviews, code merges and resolve code conflicts.
• Analyze test results and determine root causes of issues. Determine severity and scope of issues to guide prioritization for resolution.
• Provide regular software defect tracking and regression updates and present status and technical reports as required.
• Assist in planning, developing, and delivering training related to automated test tools and frameworks.
• Review, establish, and maintain thorough documentation, templates, and process improvements and communicate technical issues to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with other engineering team members and departments on technical issues and updates.
• Keep abreast of technology trends and advancements within areas of specialization and incorporate improvements into the overall testing process.

What You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with Web and Mobile applications using manual and automated tools.
• 3+ years of experience of leading QA Engineer and QA Automation Engineers
• 3+ Strong experience in automated testing practices and tools — Selenium, or other similar tools and Web Service testing
• Experience leading teams with distributed global locations.
• Strong experience in SDLC, Agile development and test methodology.
• Experience with Test Management Tools (Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, TestRail, BrowserStack, etc)
• Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes (including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking and reporting)
• Experience with writing test scripts from scratch for manual testing and leading projects to go live without defects to production environments.
• Strong hands-on programming skills with an object-oriented language (C++, Java, Python, or .NET); preferably Java
• In-depth knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches
• Experience in REST API testing and automating API workflows.
• Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/MIS)

What We Offer📈: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
