Lead QA Software Engineer (API testing, UI Testing) - Quality

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Scope:

• As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our Identity and Access Management & Authorization system by designing, developing, and executing rigorous testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Our Current Technical Environment:

• Software: Java, JavaScript, Java Springboot, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB
• Tools and Methodologies: Agile, Exploratory Testing, API Testing, Test Automation
• Cloud Platforms: Azure
• Domain Knowledge: Supply Chain Management (preferred)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our products.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to identify and resolve defects throughout the development process.
• Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Analyse test results, identify the root causes of defects, and track bug resolution to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with product managers and development teams to define acceptance criteria and support successful product launches.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and overall product performance.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software testing to ensure the team's methods and tools are up to date.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What we Are Looking For:

• Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices.
• Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, REST Assured).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such Java, or JavaScript, Java Springboot
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Mongo DB databases is an advantage.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms, with Azure being a plus.
