In this role, will be dedicated to a product domain consisting of multiple teams, where they will lead, guide, and monitor the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of testing tasks. Being part of the QCE org, they will be responsible for collaborating with fellow test leads across product domains as well as with the release and business teams to support all testing procedures and BAU test activities.
Responsibilities:
Leadership

• Guide teams to deliver initial estimates of the test effort needed for new development and functional enhancements.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and defect triage calls
• Monitor, measure, control, and report to QCE management on test progress, product quality, test results and test completion
• Identify process gaps and collaborate with fellow test leads to establish solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to product teams on best practices, monitoring and supporting development of team members with training plans.

Testing

• Define, design, and coordinate all testing work, including functional testing, integration testing, system testing and regression and support test activities during the release lifecycle.
• Document queries and defects and provide adequate data to allow rapid resolution.
• Review testing requirements for change requests, assessing the impact on test plans and schedules.
• Contribute to and help maintain the automation frameworks, Selenium, Cypress
• Guide teams in creating good manual and automated test scripts.
• Ensure good traceability exists for all test activities from test results to defects to requirements.
• Drive standards and best practices in QA and Testing, champion the adoption of continuous quality improvement through automation.
• Identify test automation opportunities, plan the effort, select the tools and ensure training to team.

Delivery & Quality Management

• Ensure team performance for testing is actively managed, work is prioritized effectively, individual/team objectives are consistently allocated, achieved and quality gate criteria is met.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience Testing applications on large scale.
• Previous hands-on experience as a Test Lead working with developers, product owners, project managers, testers, and business stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of software development lifecycle(waterfall/agile) Cloud technologies, functional and non-functional test methodologies for low code platforms.
• Deep knowledge of test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
• Experience in Performance testing, API test and cross browser testing
• Relevant and demonstrable experience of managing relationship with business and external stakeholders
• A proven track record in delivering on time.
• Experience with Test management and defect management tools

Base Compensation range for New York City residents is 88,900- 195,500.
