Everclear (prev Connext) is the First Clearing Layer. Everclear coordinates global settlement of liquidity between chains, solving fragmentation for modular blockchains. 

At scale, Everclear will be able to net over 80%+ transactions, automatically routing them through the best settlement mechanisms available, drastically increasing applications' scalability and capital efficiency. About the Team

The Everclear team is remote first and globally distributed, with English as primary language. We are looking for self-starters who are excited about building an industry first technology while working with talented crypto team members located all over the world!

Lead Quant is a key role for the project. Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering and analytics, you will be responsible for delivering critical modeling and analytics for the protocol. You will report to the Head of Product.

What you will do

- Leading the design of the pricing model and netting modeling for the clearing layer

- Optimizing the unit-economics for the protocol and key participants of the ecosystem (MMs, CEXs, solvers, intent based bridges)

- Researching options to increase the settlement success ratio for all cross-chain flows within given timeframes

- Setting up the product analytics 

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in modeling / pricing analytics

- Mathematics / physics / finance major

- Ability to analyze, synthesize and present complex data, including performing any QA required to ensure data correctness.

- Strong data science / modeling skills.

- Technical capability to operate independently when architecting data pipelines.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to pull wider market data from disparate data sources.

- Demonstrated experience prioritizing opportunities and clearly communicating the rationale behind decisions

- Comfortable defining and tracking key business and success metrics, as well as linking insights to business implications

- Self-driven, ability to be super productive working independently as part of a remote, globally distributed team

Nice-to-have:

- Direct experience with cross chain liquidity rebalancing and analysis.

- Past experience with CEXs, market-makers or cross-chain protocols 

- Tokenomics design experience
