About this role:

The Lead Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for leading process improvements that drive operational productivity. In addition, you will use data to understand and advise on aspects of the sales and quoting process in order to drive process efficiencies and improvements. You will be responsible for the delivery of process innovation, support, and continuous improvement initiatives for the global sales support organization. This role will collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze processes, technology, and data to identify improvement opportunities. You will bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. You will analyze key sales data and communicate monthly sales support progress against major key performance indicators (KPIs).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive consistent and reliable reporting from for Sales Support function to capture productivity, KPIs and insights to drive improvements
  • Utilize past experience of sales and process simplification to recommend appropriate business process solutions to new business requirements
  • Document complex issues into simple step by step processes with clarity that simplify deals processing time
  • Work with various teams globally across time zones to streamline processes
  • Acts as subject matter expert in cross-department projects as representative of the capabilities and needs of the sales support organization
  • Create impact assessments and analyze the ROI for process improvements and analyze information to develop appropriate solutions
  • Identify training gaps and create training opportunities when needed for sales support and/or sales functions
  • Generate project status, management reports and project status as required to executive audiences
  • Provide subject matter expertise and business requirements to stakeholders outside of Sales support on projects related to GoToMarket strategy or quoting
  • Provide ad-hoc operational support as required including for month-end and quarter end close process
  • Coordinates/prepares all necessary departmental processes and develops and maintains department flows
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and expert knowledge of all current data systems and business drivers at Cloud Software Group
  • Articulate compelling qualitative and quantitative business cases for process improvement
  • Effectively gives direction to team members to accomplish project goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/MBA from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • 8+ years prior relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of Operations experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a process improvement focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact effectively with executives, functional peer groups and subordinates to gain commitment and cooperation from others, especially those in other departments with competing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills; ability to lead meetings internally and externally and executive briefings. Often takes a leading role in senior level presentations with management teams
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Understanding of quote to cash processes
  • Strives to improve performance and to have a significant impact on department's success
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and expert knowledge of all current data systems and business drivers at Cloud Software Group
  • Articulate compelling qualitative and quantitative business cases for process improvement
  • Knowledge of SalesForce/CRM systems
  • Consulting experience
