We are currently seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Successful candidates are modern development specialists experienced in translating business requirements into software architecture.

In addition to strong software development skills, ideal candidates have demonstrated experience in working on an Agile Scrum team. The primary location is remote and may require occasional travel to Fairfax, VA for team meetings or Washington, DC for customer meetings.

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for leading multiple Agile teams providing analysis, design, development, and testing of function-specific financial applications built upon a variety of technology stacks. These stacks include primarily Salesforce, Java J2EE, SAP Business Objects, and Oracle APEX (Application Express), as well as .Net. Database technologies include Oracle and Microsoft SQL relational databases. Key tasks include:

• Lead small teams of application developers supporting a portfolio of various applications using diverse technologies
• Support full system development life cycle using Salesforce technology
• Understand and use coding standards
• Understand business requirements and recommend sound solutions
• Communicate with product owners to discuss problems and resolution
• Work independently and create/update technical documentation
• Learn and adopt new technologies quickly as required by the project

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Programming with Salesforce and JavaScript
  • DevSecOps
  • IT Security (Lifecycle, Compliance)
  • CI/CD
  • Automated Testing
• 3 years' experience developing software using Salesforce.
• 3 years' experience with modern Java J2EE and supporting technologies.
• 3 years Oracle and/or SQL Server database experience including database design, upgrades and performance tuning
• 2 years of experience working with .Net
• 3 years' experience supporting Oracle and/or SQL Server Databases, with upgrade experience a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
• Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Support development of other applications using Oracle APEX, WebLogic, .Net with SQL Server
• Extensive working experience in developing RESTful Webservices as well as other system-to-system intercommunication methods including SFTP
• Experience applying DevSecOps principles to software development
• Experience with open-source-based CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and SonarQube
• Working experience in testing frameworks Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG
