Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Field Services Engineer to provide technical direction for turbine and DCS (distributed control system) upgrade assignments for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects, while supporting our business growth strategies. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various organizational functions to achieve business goals and operational excellence KPIs - Key Performance Indicators.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site commissioning services for turbine and DCS (distributed control system) upgrade projects.
• Lead and supervise installation subcontractor crews during installation processes.
• Mentor and guide team members in service operations.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn new technical skills and cross-train across multiple verticals.
• Support operations in various geographical regions as per business requirements.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, including daily progress, site acceptance tests, and field service documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergency troubleshooting and startup service requests.
• Ensure thorough preparation of jobs, understanding proposal terms, site working hours, and travel and overtime allowances.
• Uphold a strong safety mindset, ensuring compliance with GEV safety standards and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to customer representatives on installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.
• Support CSM (Customer Services Manager) in generating new services sales leads.
• Ensure proper job handover to succeeding field engineers as necessary.
• Report customer quality issues using appropriate quality processes.
• Share lessons learned with team members to facilitate knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a turbine and DCS (distributed control system) field services role.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
