The Engineering Reliability team at Lifion is building ADP's Next Gen HCM, and we are entrusted with safeguarding the reputation and trustworthiness of that product. The team applies the practices of DevSecOps & Site Reliability Engineering to the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) , and delivers value through standardization of operations, best practices, automation, and subject-matter expertise within our Developer Ecosystem for improved developer experience.
We are looking for Engineer with experience in running distributed systems at scale, in production. You will be part of the team which designs and implements major infrastructure components, systems, and developer-friendly capabilities to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our services. You will code, test deploy infrastructure, and work with architects, other engineering and product teams, and evangelize cloud best practices while building a culture of reliability and observability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• We'll start every day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities.
• Collaboration and Communication. You'll be working with other team members, developers and operations when they need to find a solution quickly. You'll listen to their needs, find a solution and share it. You're comfortable presenting to leadership everything from system designs to new ideas for technology to production incidents.
• DevSecOps and tools. You'll be part of the team that helps products get to market faster through automation with security and quality gates. Your kubernetes experience fits well with our direction for CI/CD support for all our production solutions. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Tekton will give you an advantage.
• SRE practices. You will be working in the team that provides observaiility and logging solution to over 50 teams. Your experience with proactive monitoring tools to reduce toil of operations will be helpful.
• You're comfortable working on products with tech that we have never used before. We are building scalable solutions that are purposefully adaptable to grow as our clients' businesses grow. We deliver highly automated, intelligent, and predictive solutions to the market; Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution.
• You have about 5 years of recent experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

Compensation for New York City residents: $80,600 - $206,000
