Snap Inc. is looking for a Lead, Growth Marketing Automation to work on the Lifecycle Channels team. This role will lead execution of high-growth programs in service of Small and Medium advertisers on Snapchat, collaborating with Salesforce / CRM, Program Managers, Marketing, Web Development, Sales Ops, Insights, Data Science and Product teams.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in Marketing Automation and brings extensive experience executing highly complex and personalized programs. They will have a proven track record of problem solving and executing automated journeys in a methodical and organized manner ensuring quality deliverables at a global scale.
What you'll do:
  • Execute personalized nurturing programs across advertiser segments with a focus on email marketing and automation for campaigns globally driving towards immediate email performance metrics and KPIs like activation/retention rate, meetings booked, and conversion rates through the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Lead the execution of multiple impactful email programs successfully.
  • Help to ensure email audience segmentation is in line with strategic targets by helping to build, explore and test list volumes using various criteria calling out discrepancies and mobilizing remediation on data pipelines when necessary.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters and developers to ensure content quality across regions.
  • Ensure links are accurately implemented and functioning as expected in email templates.
  • Ensure privacy compliance standards are met at a global consideration per direction of Snap's legal team (i.e. CCPA, GDPR, etc).
  • Work with Data Science to ensure measurement tactics are functioning as expected and helping to develop dashboards to track weekly campaign performance for ongoing maintenance and health of programs.
  • Help to identify opportunities for enhancements for existing tooling and processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong technical, analytical, and organization skills with exceptional attention to detail having a methodical approach to pre and post QA.
  • Ability to describe Marketing Automation and CRM concepts and functionality to an end customer, simplifying complexity, without using jargon that wouldn't be understood.
  • Communicates effectively with skill in ongoing automation planning and documentation
  • Work cross functionally to ask questions and analyze solutions ahead of implementation ensuring a functional and quality outcome.
  • Able to read between the lines, anticipate the needs of the business, and make strategic suggestions based on those needs.
  • Proven track record in executing successful programs that are multi-geography, and complex in nature.
  • Show a clear capacity for problem-solving, self-direction, time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to influence & partner with key internal stakeholder teams: Salesforce / CRM, Program Managers, Marketing, Web Development, Sales Ops, Data Science and Product teams to ensure shared vision and initiatives drive forward.
  • Proven track record in problem solving, analytical thinking, and executing strategies that are data-driven and people-informed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 5-8 years experience in marketing automation for growth marketing
  • Marketing Automation / ESP certificate or power user equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree, or MBA in engineering, mathematics, or economics.
  • Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industry
  • Experience with Pardot or Marketing Cloud
  • Experience working closely with Salesforce CRM teams
  • Passion for change, Snapchat, and creativity!

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :
The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$190,000 annually.
Zone B :
The base salary range for this position is $124,000-$181,000 annually.
Zone C :
The base salary range for this position is $111,000-$162,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
