Full-Time Exempt

The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for both hands-on development as well as leading a group of engineers to develop and grow test automation frameworks for our robotics system. They will work with teams across the organization to enable test automation and promote good quality practices. They will also work with quality assurance engineers to gather requirements for automating test cases. To be successful in this role, the right person will not just be technically strong, but also determined and invest in their team successfully reaching goals.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 10+ years' experience as either a Software Development Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role and 2+ years' experience leading a team of Software Development Engineers
• Must have a solid understanding and ability to develop code in Python or other mainstream language
• Strong experience in API testing and hands-on experience with Linux required
• Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems and cloud technologies a must
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems in large systems
• Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Python with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium or Robot Framework is preferred
• Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation
