Job Description:

L3Harris has an immediate opening for a DevSecOps Software Engineer. The individual will support work in a dynamic classified environment to help us provide world class solutions in support of Intelligence and Cyber (I&C) programs that are critical to our national defense. In this role candidates will support development of a data fusion solution within an government high Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, working as part of a larger team dedicated to the customer mission.

Essential Functions:

• Provide onsite support at a Space Force customer site with configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintanance, and troubleshooting Redhat/Centos Linux systems in agile work environment
• Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure
• Deploy sotware and infrastructure through automation.
• Provide cloud engineering or administration support (C2S/Gov Cloud).
• Provide security control implementations in compliance with DoD security frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or related discipline with 9 years of software experience; or 7 years relevant software experience with a Graduate Degree. In lieu of degree, 13 years of software experience.
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Redhat, Centos, or Linux systems.
• Experience deploying infrastructure through automation using scripting such as Python.
• Experience with infrastructure virtualization, cloud engineering, or administration (C2S/Gov Cloud).
• Experience supporting software deployments via continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• DoD r8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (Security+)Familiarity with Agile development and processes as a product owner, including creating stories, backlog grooming, acceptance demos and managing scope vs time with sprint teams.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Experience with RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with PKI and/or OAuth authentication models.
• Experience supporting DoD/government customers.
• Experience integrating and administering cross-domain systems.
• Experience with microservices, containers using Docker or related tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and containerization using docker or related tools.
