We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our Mobility Intelligence Platform team. This team is responsible for building the backend services fusing real-time data, on the order of 20 billion data points per day, historical data and machine learning to calculate how people move. Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead development of worldwide complex systems, ~5 software engineers in the development and deployment of INRIX products
• Implement new technology advancements such as new development stacks or new ways to maximize system value
• Collaborating with data scientists, you will facilitate the seamless integration of ML models into our software solutions
• Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines that handle large volumes of data
• Your role will involve integrating ML models into the data pipelines to extract meaningful insights and enable data-driven decision-making

Experience required:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with backend development
• At least 2 years of technical team leadership experience
• Strong expertise in building data pipelines and data processing systems
• Proven experience integrating ML models into software solutions
• Proficiency in Java programming
• Familiarity with AWS services for large-scale data processing, such as Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, or AWS Glue
• Experience building large-volume data web services using AWS technologies
• Knowledge of data storage and querying technologies like Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, or Apache Spark

• You have experience working with terabytes of data and the unknowns of data validation

The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000, including base salary and bonus. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. INRIX may modify the pay range at any time.
