About the role 

As the Technical Lead on our Video team, you would be responsible for all development on Video AI - our product geared towards videographers looking to enhance their videos with 4K Upscaling, Motion Deblur, Frame Rate Enhancement and other features driven by our AI engine. Your responsibilities would include project management, leading development on new features and initiatives, code and system architecture, ownership of weekly releases, code reviews, mentoring developers, etc. While in the role, you will need to gain a deep understanding of the product and our users, and always plan with customer needs in mind first. You would have a pivotal role on the team helping us maintain our high standard of craftsmanship and feature delivery.

About you

•  5+ years professional development experience
• Proficient in C++ & JavaScript, or any other major programming language
• Experience working with modern, reactive UI frameworks 
• Knowledgeable with application architecture, networking, databases, performance and optimizationTesting experience: unit, integration, UI and/or acceptance tests
• Good understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
• High level of experience working on customer-facing products
• Eye for design and a high level of craftsmanship
• Past project management experience with small teams
• History leading teams deploying high quality products
• Strong sense of user experience
• High aptitude for computer programmingProven ability to learn and be effective in new technologies
• You enjoy independence and a high level of responsibility
• You exhibit an unusually strong work ethic

Preferred

• Exposure to image or video encoding/decoding and file formats
• Experience developing native applications for Windows / MacOS
• Experiencing deploying ML models in production environments
• Some history working with applications involving video or live streaming

Love

• Photographers and videographers!
• Deep knowledge of image file formats - JPEG, RAW, TIFF, PNG…
• Familiarity with these SDKs - ONNX, CoreML, TensorRT, OpenVino
• Advanced use of ffmpeg, OpenCV
• Qt/QML development experience
