The Digital Software Engineering team is focused on building world class Platform in the cloud, with capabilities and processes that enable our engineers to focus on delivering innovative customer facing features while minimizing the effort they have to spend delivering performance, availability, resiliency, security and operational efficiency. Our digital platform serves variety of internal and external developers and services by creating secured paved roads for our cloud assets, building fully automated CICD pipelines and enabling fast experimentation for our data science services.

As a Lead Software Engineer at ResMed, you will be focusing on building libraries, platform and domain services, best practices, tools, and back-end systems that will be used by other engineers working on product features. You will mentor and be a technical leader among our global teams to modernize existing applications and to expand our cloud-native services. • Build and lead our cloud native mindset and drive our architecture towards it.
• Drive product roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals.
• Bring thought leadership to all facets of our development environment (architecture, process, tools, technologies) and help the company set technical direction.

Let's talk about you

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of experience in public cloud (AWS) in building services using cloud native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, etc.

• Demonstrate deep experience in rethinking/reimagining existing product/platform architectures as they migrate to the cloud. This includes decomposing monoliths, scalability, resiliency, observability, and security.
• Ability to articulate and implement a vision while inspiring our large developer community to join forces.
• A commitment to growing and mentoring talent with the goal of building a world class development culture.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role may be eligible to receive stock equity based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$154,000.00 - $232,000.00

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
