We need your help to accomplish our mission! Interapt is currently seeking a Software Engineer Lead, responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying business solutions and software for internal and customer use. This position will be part of an Agile development team, building and working on software systems using a particular development stack. The position requires good communication skills, ability to work together in a cross-functional technical team as well as providing support to clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and support distributed n-tier applications to provide the most efficient and reliable systems for the organization.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best practices and performing code reviews for the software development team. Uses best practices and follows appropriate coding standards set by department.
• Assist software development team lead in the technical and systems design expertise by contributing to the architecture, development, and testing of software applications
• Knowledge of project management and Agile/SCRUM software development techniques to complete the requirements of software applications.

• Ability to design and maintain relational database applications using familiarity of stored procedures, tables, etc. using Microsoft SQL Server tools. Follows best practices for SQL.
• Provide excellent customer service through direct and indirect support to employees and customers.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Perform peer-to-peer code reviews as needed.
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution architecture design and coding standards
• Proactively engage product owners in design, priority setting, development of user stories, and implementation of projects.

• Facilitate meetings and training demos as necessary. Experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development, Microsoft Flow, Microsoft Bot framework, or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Recognize problems or situations that are new and find solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of development experience is required.
• Experience in merging, branching, and versioning including best practices in source control
• Experience in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET/MVC/Entity Framework, Git, Visual Studio 2019 or higher, and SQL Server.

• Experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development, Microsoft Flow, Microsoft Bot framework, or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Vue.js or React a plus
• Experience with RFID technology is a plus
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment environments
• Stays up to date on industry trends and advancements in order to facilitate future development needs to provide most efficient support to end users.

• Prefer experience in cloud-based applications, mobile applications, and SOA architecture
