L3Harris is seeking to hire a Lead, Back-end Software Engineer to join the IEI (Intelliearth Integrator). The User Interface (UI) team implements core IEI functionality to support customization and UI teams by creating modular and generic services and REST endpoints. The team works with Technical Lead(TL) and Subject Matter Experts(SME) to design and implement new features in IEI. This team is primarily responsible for Java code and the PostgreSQL database.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain and add features to existing IEI backend services.
• Design and implement new IEI backend services.
• Maintain the IEI database schema.
• Maintain and create documentation about IEI backend services and procedures.
• Participate in and host TEMs with the functional team and stakeholders.
• Participate in pull-request based code review for own work and others.
• Provide daily status on work in the form of scrum updates and/or comments in JIRA/Bitbucket.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience with Java, preferably Java 8 or newer.
• Experience writing unit tests, preferably JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Java build tools, preferably Maven.
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience with Java IDEs, preferably Netbeans.
• Experience with collaboration software like Bitbucket or Gitlab.
• Experience with continuous integration (CI) software like Jenkins.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $130,000 - $217,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
