Lead Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure and Test

Job Objective: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is capable of leading the best practices for continuous deployment of production software as well as hands-on development of software for lab equipment and instrumentation.
Duties- Writing drivers for communicating with test equipment via serial or parallel interfaces
- Developing Hardware-in-the-Loop test platforms and procedures
- Coordinating with multiple teams to ensure proper test coverage of nightly builds
- Utilizing best practices in continuous integration and deployment to increase the quality of Epirus software
- BS degree in a STEM related field
- 4+ years of experience, including experience automating test equipment
- Proficient with scripting languages such as Python
- Working knowledge of protocols such as RS-232, RS-485, USB, SPI, TCP, and GPIB
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- US Citizen (future clearance may be required)
- Experience writing test equipment drivers that utilize the SCPI command language
- Experience with continuous deployment and DevOps
- Experience working with or customizing test runners/executives
- Hands-on experience operating lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQs, signal generators, switching matrices, and logic analyzers
