What's the role?

As a Lead Software Engineer you have 7+ years of expererience and your role includes:
Software Development: Develop, code, test, and deploy software components.Investigate and correct software defects.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and programming languages.
Database and Cloud Integration: Work with PostgreSQL, SQL, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
Automation and Configuration: Create and maintain scripts and configurations for software releases. Develop robust automation scripts.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in agile planning and collaborate with teams to execute test matrices.
Quality Assurance: Translate user stories into test cases, automate testing, and track defects. Maintain test suites and documentation.

Who are you?

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software design & development experience
• Excellent skills in Scala/Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Infrastructure experience: Maven/SBT/Poetry, GIT/GitLab, CI/CD, AWS, Linux Environment
• Able to provide technical leadership and domain expertise to help build the competency of other engineers (researching new technologies, tutorials to group, etc.)
• Able to translate business and architectural features into quality, consistent software design
• A strong quality mindset is considered a must: unit testing, performance testing, writing testable code
• Eagerness for challenges, the ability to lead and advance teams of developers and work with a variety of technologies and personnel.
• Very good communication skills in English both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with Computer Vision algorithms and/or Machine Learning frameworks
• Experience with database management and optimization, with a strong preference on PostgreSQL / PostGIS.
