Eaton Corporation's Digital Office (EDO) has an opening for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, Industrial Software Solutions, to join our organization! This position can be based remotely.

Position Overview:

As a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and support of IoT cloud applications encompassing functionality from data acquisition through user interfaces. Eaton is accelerating its cloud based digital offerings. In this role, you will be part of our software engineering team within our Brightlayer digital platform.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with other members of architects, developers, and technical leads, to evaluate solutions and gain consensus on technical direction.
• Perform requirements analysis and design for systems spanning the Brightlayer Industrial Monitoring software product.
• Document and communicate designs, estimates, and implementation plans to program stakeholders.
• Provide work estimates and conduct design, implementation, and code reviews
• Develop and execute plans for incremental and interactive project delivery
• Author high-quality unit-tested code
• Work with test team to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the software industry
• Minimum of 3 years experience developing enterprise grade highly scalable web-based applications and/or distributed systems.
• Experience with web application frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in designing high-performance REST-based services
• Hands-on experience on .Net Core libraries and Frameworks
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies - ASP.NET Core, Web API, .NET Core 3.0+, C#
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Experience in developing applications with Azure Cloud Services (Web App Service, App Gateway, APIM, Storage, Azure Function, Key Vault, App Config, & App Insight)
• Experience in developing applications using ASP.NET Core, Web API, .NET Core 3.0+, C#
• Experience developing highly scalable data-driven, near real-time applications
• Proven record in software development process improvement

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $96,000 - $132,000 a year.
