Lead Software Engineer - RoR

You will be joining one of our engineering teams as a technical lead. You will be a mentor for less experienced colleagues helping them in making technical decisions and resolving complex problems. You will be participating in all development (code creation and review, write unit tests, maintaining existing features) activities working on real tasks related to our strategic product and relevant for others.

Our modern Cracow office is located in the city center (5 minutes walk from Main Railway Station). We offer stationary, hybrid or work from home, based on your own preference.

In this role you will...

• Create new and modify existing features and cooperate with Product Team on requirements
• Develop, unit test, and deliver the features within committed timelines.
• Set high standards for quality with every new development sharing good practices across development team
• Work closely with other leads and architects to ensure each new development is in line with CSOD vision and harmonizes with overall architecture.

• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails development
• Previous experience and proven track record of complex programming, preferable in Enterprise business
• Experience in leading a development of a feature or part of a product
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts
• Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud services
• Experience of working with relational and non-relational databases
• Grasp of software design principles
• Excellent command of English, both verbal & written
• Knowledge of React will be an additional asset
