Lead Software Solutions Specialist

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Lead Software Solutions Specialist in Princeton, New Jersey.

Work You'll Do

Plan and deploy releases to production. Collaborate with development teams to deliver solution. Provide technical insights into a problem by performing root cause analysis. Act as a subject matter expert for key business functions. Guide the team to provide resolution for incidents reported by users. Provide leadership on release activities. Work with users and product owners to create a path forward for achieving uninterrupted business. Keep the production application up and running to ensure maximum availability. Monitor processes to introduce refinements for operational excellence. Keep the business stakeholders/leaders posted with critical updates/milestones for making informed decisions.

Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer, Software Developer-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have 36 months of experience in the following special skills:

1. Lead the Technical Production Support for web applications specializing in monitoring and logging tools including Azure Monitor, AppInsights, and Log Analytics
2. Experience in developing tools using technologies such as C#, Python scripting, or Azure Databricks to reduce issue turnaround time.
3. Experience in Azure cloud services, including Azure CLI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Web Jobs, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure App Services, and Azure Service Bus to provide technical production support.
4. Experience with database and storage management tools such as SAP HANA, Mongo DB, SQL scripts, or Azure file storage to troubleshoot data issues, generate key business metrics and reports
5. Experience in web technologies, including .Net Core, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Rest API, and Postman to develop tools and applications.
6. Experience in automating various activities to aid monitoring using technologies such as shell scripting, PowerShell, cron job scheduling, Azure workbooks, or Azure log analytics.
