Lead Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Provide software quality and testing support to Commercial Operations business unit inclusive of customer service, logistics and distribution, and warehouse facilities management as a part of IT team responsible for supporting distribution centers in US (including order, inventory, and inbound product management using multiple Warehouse Management Systems integrated with Oracle ERP).
- Responsible for software test engineering, including test, performance, verification and validation functions.
- Plan, implement, lead and execute all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals, industry and company standards are met.
- Create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure team meets deadlines set forth in plans.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated) and maintain/expand robust test automation strategy and implementation.
- Diagnose defects and track from discovery to resolution. Identify risks and create mitigation plans.
- Report progress, plans, and problems to upper management and other stakeholders. Lead and mentor QA team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and
- 5 years of progressive experience in software quality engineering including prior hands-on experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- 3 years of experience developing UI (User Interface) and backend test automation for Oracle, SQL, and .Net technologies;
- object oriented programming languages (such as C# and Java) and multi-tier web application architecture;
- entire software development life cycle and test cycles to include at least four of the following: Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress and Scale, or Smoke and Sanity;
- applying metrics-driven approach to improve software deliverables and improve predictability and reliability of releases;
- leading and coordinating with external and offshore QA resources; and
- working within an Agile software development process.
Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
Base Pay Range for this position: $129,522.00 - $242,000.00 per year.
