Lead Solution Architect
Job Description
Lead Solution Architect (Smith & Nephew, Inc., Memphis, TN): Actively engage and contribute to the overall architecture strategy with specific emphases on design, development and maintenance of the data architecture, data models and standards for various data integration and data warehousing projects in Snowflake, combined with other Cloud and on-prim based technologies. Ensure architecture strategy encompasses advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, data sharing, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning and zero copy clone. Deliver in-depth technical architectural design and support during program/project solution analysis and design phases to ensure road-map alignment.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, or a related field plus 10 years of post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role in the IT or Medical Device industry.
Of the required experience, must have 10 years of experience in Structured Query Language, such as Oracle, SQL Server PL, or SQL.
Of the required experience, must have 8 years of experience in each of the following:
- Extract Transform Load (ETL) Architecture, such as Datastage, Informatica, or SSIS; and
- Data-Warehouse design and architecture.
Of the required experience, must have 7 years of experience in Data Modelling, such as Erwin, Power Designer, or Idera.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in each of the following:
- Snowflake Platform Architecture; and
- Snowflake Application Architecture.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in Database Transformation tool.
