What We Need:
We are seeking an experienced architect to drive the technical direction for our integration platforms and capabilities.An ideal candidate will be a thought leader, technical expert, and strong communicator to fill this role in our global IT team reporting to the VP of IT Engineering. Qualified individuals must be experienced in working on complex projects involving multiple IT and business teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work with business leaders and IT to define and communicate the future direction of our integration platforms and capabilities.
- Implement architectural and technical platform changes that enhance our integration capabilities
- Partner with business and IT teams to design solutions and oversee implementation.
- Provide technical leadership to integration engineering staff.
- Develop and lead strategies for implementing architectural changes.
- Mentor other technical experts in engineering and architectural practices.
- Define and communicate principles and best practices to be followed on our integration platforms and ensure those principles are embraced and implemented by the teams.
- Drive technical quality improvements across our platforms such as speed, security, reliability.
- Work with engineering teams directly as needed to contribute to the success of the teams.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and automation
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
- At least 5 years of experience as a technical lead, architect, or related role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in documenting and communicating strategies and architectures
- Ability to clearly exchange ideas with various technical and non-technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong experience with various integration technologies and implementation patterns
- Experience working in an iterative / agile / scrum environment
- Ability to handle and manage multiple priorities at the same time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a software developer
- Experience with Dell Boomi
- Experience with other integration platforms such as Informatica and Qlik Replicate
- Experience with ERP integrations, SAP preferred
- Experience with Azure cloud platform services - PaaS and data
- Experience with one or more cloud data warehouses, preferably BiqQuery
